FOR THE EVENT TO RUN WE NEED ENOUGH PEOPLE TO HAVE BOOKED IN ONLINE 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT TAKING PLACE (THURSDAY 7th MAY) – THIS IS IN YOUR HANDS! IF YOU WANT TO RIDE, THEN BOOK NOW!

ALL EDGE OFFROAD EVENTS ARE RUN UNDER THE IOPD – THEY ARE FULLY PERMITTED, INSURED & ALL RIDERS WILL NEED AN IOPD LICENCE. THESE CAN BE BOUGHT ON THE DAY.

EARLY BIRD RATE EXPIRES ON THURSDAY 7th MAY AT 8am.

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE ON THURSDAY 14th MAY AT 8am. After this day entries only which carry a £10 surcharge. These changes have taken place to encourage people to book in early – this makes it easier for event organisation. Get booked in early to avoid being charged more, £30 deposit will secure your place on the start line! Please don’t message or call after online entries have closed to book in, you just need to turn up.

Please remember to bring cash – there is very little to no phone signal at the quarry. The lap will cross some footpaths – ALL WALKERS & HORSES HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. Please do not exceed 10mph when crossing the footpaths which are clearly marked with BLUE TAPE and signs to warn you. DO NOT IGNORE THEM. If you come across a horse rider or walkers, please stop and let them pass safely. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.

The long await Youth 2 Hour Solo/Team & Adult 5 Hours Solo/Team event, will take place at the versatile Spaunton Quarry venue on Sunday 17th May. As always we will put the maximum amount of effort in to make sure all our riders are happy and able to complete this multi-lap event. With open going, hills, woodlands, stream beds, flowing tracks and trails there really is something here for everyone. We are looking at a long lap! Please park as the Edge staff ask.

2026 MEMBERSHIP CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE DAY. 2026 IOPD LICENCES CAN ALSO BE PURCHASED ON THE DAY.

Any/all riders can ride solo or team up with their mate for the duration – as a team you have to ride in the class of the rider with the higher ability. You can share a bike or use your own bikes. You can split the time duration as you please.

TEAMS – Only one rider allowed on track at any one time. There will be a change over area, and in this you must come to a stop, and take the transponder off your wrist for the other rider to put on their wrist. You will share the same rider number, either on your own bikes, or you can share one bike. If either one of you has bike failure, you can use your team mates bike to complete the event.

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS – PLEASE READ!!!!!

  • FOR ANY RIDERS THAT PAY & DON’T TURN UP THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED.
  • No refunds will be issued to anyone within 72 hours of the event as per standard Rules & Regulations. Anyone that needs to withdraw before the 72 hour period, can get a refund less 10% admin fee.
  • Please form an orderly queue at Signing On at all times. Please respect other peoples privacy.
  • You have to produce your IOPD Licence at EVERY event. This can be used at all Play Days & all Competition Days.
  • There will be a small spares shop onsite both days, plus Edge Merchandise is always available to purchase.
  • All Marshals and Photographers MUST sign on at the “Event Signing On” marquee before they go out onto the course. NB MEDIA – please make sure we have an up todate copy of your Public Liability Insurance before you attend any event.
  • All dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times, and PLEASE pick up your own dogs mess!
  • All children must remain with an adult at all times.
  • All litter to be taken home with you!
  • WE WILL NOT TOLERTATE ABUSE TOWARDS ANY SIGNING ON STAFF, COURSE MARSHALS OR OFFICIALS. If you can not be respectful or pleasant do not come. Rider to rider abuse is also not tolerated. You will be asked to leave if this happens.
  • Catering onsite all weekend.
  • Camping is available from Friday night free.
  • No loud music after 8pm.
  • NO GENERATORS AFTER 10pm
  • Medics & toilets will be onsite for both days.
  • New and old riders always more than welcome!
  • All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, you MUST pick up & take away your own dog mess.
  • ALL CHILDREN MUST STAY WITH AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

Signing On starts at 7.30am for Youth riders & 8.30am for Adult riders.

Youth 2 Hour Event Briefing on the line at 8.15am, Event starts at 8.30am.

Adult 5 Hour Event Briefing on the line at 11.15am, Event starts at 11.30am for 5 hours.
