ALL EDGE OFFROAD EVENTS ARE RUN UNDER THE IOPD – THEY ARE FULLY PERMITTED, INSURED & ALL RIDERS WILL NEED AN IOPD LICENCE TO RIDE. THESE CAN BY BOUGHT ON ANY EVENT DAY.

EARLY BIRD RATE EXPIRES ON THURSDAY 29th OCTOBER at 8am.

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE ON THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER AT 8am. After this day entries only, which carry a £10 surcharge. These changes have taken place to encourage people to book in early – this makes it easier for event organisation, plus you save money if you are organised. If you want to be a day entry, just turn up, you don’t need to text or ring to find out.

The 3rd round of the National Cross Country Winter Series will take place at Ellington on the 8th November. This is a venue that has woodland, tracks, trails, descents, off cambers and mud! As always we will put the maximum amount of effort in to make sure all our riders are happy and able to complete the lap. This will be a fun lap for everyone and you most abilities should be able to complete this cross country lap on the MOD Training Area. No Smoking & no dogs at this venue.
Please follow the orange arrows into the venue. Please park sensibly.

NO ELECTRIC BIKES, PIT BIKES, E SCOOTERS ETC – only EMTB or pedal bikes are allowed, unless you are taking part in the event. PLEASE NOTE – NO FIRES OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED AT ANY EDGE OFFROAD EVENT.

2027 REGISTRATION CAN BE PURCHASED ON EITHER EVENT DAY.
You will need an IOPD Licence for this event – or a licence can be purchased on the day. Put 2026 in the licence box when you are booking in.
IF YOU WANT TO DO MORE EVENTS WITH EDGE & WANT TO SAVE MONEY, THEN YOU CAN DO YOUR 2027 MEMBERSHIP AT ANY EVENT.

ALL KIDS TO REMAIN WITH AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES, NO RUBBISH TO BE LEFT ON SITE. THIS IS A NO SMOKING SITE – THAT INCLUDES NO VAPING.

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS!!

  • NO RACING  IN THE PADDOCK. WHILST ON YOUR BIKE YOU MUST WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES.
  • FOR ANY RIDERS THAT PAY & DON’T TURN UP THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED.
  • No refunds will be issued to anyone within 72 hours of the event as per standard Rules & Regulations.
  • Any refunds before the 72 hour period will be deducted a 10% admin fee.
  • If the event was to get cancelled, whereby your entry fee can be carried over to another event, but you still wish for a refund, this will be less a 10% admin fee.
  • Please form an orderly queue at Signing On at all times. Please respect other peoples privacy.
  • PLEASE NOTE – You have to produce your IOPD Licence at EVERY IOPD event. In the licence box on the entry form please put IOPD.
  • There will be a small spares shop onsite both days, where Edge Merchandise is always available to purchase at very reasonable prices.
  • All Marshals and Photographers MUST sign on at the “Event Signing On” marquee before they go out onto the course. NB ALL MEDIA – PLEASE MAKE SURE EDGE HAVE A COPY OF YOUR PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT THE VENUE.
  • NO DOGS ALLOWED AT THIS VENUE.
  • All children must remain with an adult at all times!
  • All litter to be taken home with you!
  • WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ABUSE TOWARDS ANY SIGNING ON STAFF, COURSE MARSHALS OR OFFICIALS. If you can not be respectful or pleasant to each other, you are not welcome – rider abuse is also not tolerated. You will be asked to leave if this happens.
  • Catering onsite all weekend.
  • Camping is available from Friday.
  • No loud music after 8pm.
  • NO GENERATORS AFTER 10pm and not before 7am.
  • Medics & toilets will be onsite for both days.
  • New and old riders always more than welcome!

Event Times

Signing On opens at 8.00am for Youth riders, and 9am for Adult riders.

Youth race starts at 9am and the Adult race starts at 11.15am.

Stick to the marked course. Crossed arrows means caution/slow down/attention. Blue taped areas mean WALKING PACE ONLY! Please respect Edge Offroad’s Rules and Regulations!

There will be a Medic Crew, Catering and Toilets on site all weekend.
