ALL EDGE OFFROAD EVENTS ARE RUN UNDER THE IOPD – THEY ARE FULLY PERMITTED, INSURED & ALL RIDERS WILL NEED AN IOPD LICENCE TO RIDE. THESE CAN BY BOUGHT ON ANY EVENT DAY.
EARLY BIRD RATE EXPIRES ON THURSDAY 23rd JULY, THEN PRICES INCREASE BY £10. ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE ON THURSDAY 30th JULY AT 8am. After this day entries only which carry a £10 surcharge. These changes have taken place to encourage people to book in early – this makes it easier for event organisation, plus you save money if you are organised.
A Play Day will take place at the awesome hillside venue in Commondale on Saturday 1st August. This is a venue that has fast open trails, grass, rocks, descents, off cambers and potentially mud! As always we will put the maximum amount of effort in to make sure all our riders are happy and able to complete the lap. This will be a fun lap for everyone.
NO ELECTRIC BIKES, PIT BIKES, E SCOOTERS ETC – only EMTB or pedal bikes are allowed, unless you are taking part in the event. PLEASE NOTE – NO FIRES OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED AT ANY EDGE OFFROAD EVENT.
FINAL INSTRUCTIONS – PLEASE READ!!!!!
- FOR ANY RIDERS THAT PAY & DON’T TURN UP THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED.
- No refunds will be issued to anyone within 72 hours of the event as per standard Rules & Regulations.
- Any refunds before the 72 hour period will be deducted a 10% admin fee.
- If the event was to get cancelled, whereby your entry fee can be carried over to another event, but you still wish for a refund, this will be less a 10% admin fee.
- Please form an orderly queue at Signing On at all times. Please respect other peoples privacy.
- PLEASE NOTE – You have to produce your IOPD Licence at EVERY IOPD event. In the licence box on the entry form please put IOPD.
- There will be a small spares shop onsite both days, where Edge Merchandise is always available to purchase at very reasonable prices.
- All Marshals and Photographers MUST sign on at the “Event Signing On” marquee before they go out onto the course. NB ALL MEDIA – PLEASE MAKE SURE EDGE HAVE A COPY OF YOUR PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT THE VENUE.
- All dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times, and PLEASE pick up your own dogs mess!
- All children must remain with an adult at all times!
- All litter to be taken home with you!
- WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ABUSE TOWARDS ANY SIGNING ON STAFF, COURSE MARSHALS OR OFFICIALS. If you can not be respectful or pleasant to each other, you are not welcome – rider abuse is also not tolerated. You will be asked to leave if this happens.
- Catering onsite all weekend.
- Camping is available from Friday.
- No loud music after 8pm.
- NO GENERATORS AFTER 10pm and not before 7am.
- Medics & toilets will be onsite for both days.
- New and old riders always more than welcome!
Signing On starts Saturday at 8.30am, track opens at 10am until 3pm.

Despite the Organisers taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen.
Please comply with all instructions from the Marshals and pay attention to the SIGNS/NOTICES, and remain in the Permitted Areas Only!!!!
